meet'n'greet the ingredients of your cosmetics13/08/2009
There you'll find various substances, names of which you cannot even spell. Parabens, propillens and much more.
It is truly a "million dollar" question, which of them are harmful an which are not. There will always be both organisations who'll promote healthy, natural, organic cosmetics and those who think otherwise - that there's a lack of evidence, that there are not enough studies, that it's all "equvalent to natural", that chemistry nowadays can produce substances which are better than the natural ones etc..
Yes, it is a matter of subject. You all know what i think. But this time it's not about me, it's about you. Who or what lives in your cosmetics? And should it really be there?

First of all, this much is true: the videos demonstrate such repulsive ignorance that only those who cannot spell simple chemical names (and don't have the slightest inkling about chemical processes) will do more than laugh at them. The technical name of water is dihydrogen monoxide. By your logic, that must be bad by default!
Yes, there is a lack of studies (but those that have been done properly demonstrate that synthetic substances are not necessarily worse for you and are, in most cases, beneficial). And chemistry can certainly produce substances that are better than natural ones (not a huge surprise, considering that they are produced for the specific needs of people; the natural ones are not). Why not offer some evidence, if you are so keen on claiming the opposite?
